Hopscout is about simple, timeless, and classic toys. Ever walk down the street and see a kid with something that makes you go “Ooh, where’d you get that?” Or maybe you shop with quality in mind, first and foremost. They're right there with you. In addition to choosing unique products tested for safety and durability, they’ll pass the hand-me-down test as well. They're all about the originals, as well as those new products that will be around long enough to be called The Original one day.

Was there any unique modules that you integrated into the website? How did you find that process? What about the result?

“Yes. As far as we know, this is the only first deal site running on LemonStand. Also, the checkout process is totally custom. We are not using any of the default cart functionality, but took the excellent platform LemonStand provided, and built it out to suit our needs.”

What is your overall impression of LemonStand?

“It is lightweight, powerful, and coded in a way that allows us to develop and modify it to suit our needs. Compared to Magento, this is a dream. We are no longer running a huge clunky block of code to run our website. Because of this, our site in 100x times faster than with Magento.”

How do you feel LemonStand compares to other carts?

“Our last site was run on Magento, Enterprise. We were paying $12,500 per year. We changed to LemonStand for a fraction of the cost, and gained a much lighter, faster, and more powerful piece of software. It will require more custom development, but luckily, LemonStand's core code is much more developer friendly. ”
