Subscriptions module is available

The Subscription module has been in development for several months, since we announced it in this blog post. We recently finished its development and published the module in our Marketplace. The flexible module API allows you to build custom solutions based on subscriptions. From members-only website areas to other ongoing paid services. CMS integration is already built-in, so you can create members-only pages, or pages with content variables, displaying different content depending on the user's subscription status.

Supported features

• Flexible subscription plans - "Every X days", "Monthly", "Infinite"
• Trial and grace periods
• Optional setup fee
• Automated credit card billing (works only with payment modules that support customer payment profiles)
• Subscription pausing/resuming
• Interactive subscriptions chart
• Integration with the CMS - allows to make pages or page elements accessible only for subscribed customers.

Demo website

We developed a demo store to demonstrate the basic features of the Subscriptions module. The store implements a simple subscriptions-based website membership model - you can subscribe for a membership and pay it with a test credit card.
