# OpenSSL library (required for maintain SSL connections with payment gateways and other remote servers).
# Mcrypt PHP library.

Do those two requirements cost money for the server I'm on because when I went to install it, it said i didn't have those requirements.

@Jaylin - No, they should not cost money. But your server needs them installed

Does LemonStand work at all on Windows Server? If not will we ever get a Windows version? (Since I have a Windows only host).

@Steve

Yes, LemonStand can work in Windows, if the system satisfies LemonStand system requirements. LemonStand cannot work with IIS. We test each LemonStand update on Windows boxes, and we know that some our customers use Windows for developing and running LemonStand-based websites. You can use XAMPP or WAMP suites to run LemonStand on Windows.

Is the only requirement for Apache the use of mod_rewrite or are there other dependancies?

Aleksey Bobkov

@Peter - no other Apache modules required.

Is this still an Apache/xampp/wamp only application? Or is there any chance this might work on IIS7.5 with Helicon APE installed (APE is an apache emulator that performs emulation on many apache modules, such a mod rewrite.)

@Lisa - officially LemonStand supports only Apache. But we know that some of our customers run LemonStand with other web servers. Feel free to download the free developers version and try it with IIS and Helicon APE.
