Beta users will be able to upgrade to version 1.0

We have decided that we'll allow beta users to upgrade to version 1.0 once it is available. The beta will be dropping soon, and during that time we'll be making small refinements to the system, building up our documentation and rolling out our customer service features.
To upgrade you will just need to purchase a license from the website and enter it into your install of LemonStand. This will enable upgrades and the system will update to version 1.0 or whatver is the latest release.
This will make it easy for testers to continue using LemonStand from testing stages right into production.

Wednesday, August 12, 2009Is this a stand alone web app? When is the beta release going to happen?

Wednesday, August 12, 2009Hi Derek,
Sorry for not making this more clear. Yes, this is a standalone app that you would host on your own servers. It's a PHP/MySQL based app.
We do not have an official date set for the beta release. However, I can say that we are close and LemonStand is up and running. In fact it's powering this website.
In order to release a public beta we're working on documentation and some remaining development tasks.
In the meantime we'll release a Demo store so you can try out the application live.
